Art is kinda my counterpoint to programming, and I need some of both to achieve “developer homeostasis,” we’ll call it. Unfortunately, in terms of ability, my art side has been lagging pretty considerably and so I’ve been focusing a lot of attention lately on “catch-up” time: training my eye, developing a better technique and building my creativity (as you can see, a lot of the current selection is fanart).
Hopefully this will be one of the most rapidly-evolving of all the pages on my site. Updates may not always go with my posts, either, so if you’re curious you’ll just have to check back on it every once in a while!
In any case, here’s a portfolio with my latest ventures, in hopes that the percent of embarassing content over time approaches 0.
(By the way, arts and crafts go in here too!)

Quick concept sketch of a game jam idea. Didn’t end up making it so I guess you could say it’s now a “rainy day idea”… oh dear.

Starcraft fanart. Man, I don’t even play Zerg, they’re just so gross and sickening and incredibly awesome to draw. Gogo muta rush!
